Frequently Asked Queries

At Blue Vision Roofing, we know roofing can be complex, especially with Florida’s unique climate and building codes. That’s why we’ve compiled answers to some of the most common questions we receive from homeowners and business owners across the Suncoast.   • Removal of existing roof system (typically completed in one day) Blue Vision Uses dump trailers, so no dumpsters are left on the property overnight.
  • Installation of secondary water barrier (underlayment) This is typically done the same day as the removal
  • Municipality In-Progress Roof Inspections A municipality inspector will inspect the new underlayment, virtually or in person, to ensure proper Florida Building Code installation.
  • Material delivery This may vary as shingle materials are usually delivered the same day as the roof removal. Metal systems may take up to 2 weeks for delivery.
  • New Roof Installation
  • Municipality Final Roof Inspection Once your new roof is installed, a municipality inspector will come to ensure all installation is up to the current Florida Building Code.

We serve Florida’s Suncoast, including Venice, North Port, Port Charlotte, Sarasota, Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Anna Maria, Bradenton, Palmetto, Ellenton, and St. Petersburg.

We install shingles, 5V metal, standing seam metal, tile, flat roofing (TPO, modified bitumen), and specialty ZAM® standing seam, which is tailored for Florida’s coastal environment.

ZAM®-coated metal or sealed fastener metal systems for extra protection and warranty.

Most residential roof replacements are completed in 2–5 days, depending on the size, materials, weather, and municipality. We’ll give you a clear timeline during the proposal phase.

  • Water stains on ceilings or walls

Pricing & Service Info: How estimates work

No financing but we do accept all major credit cards.

  • All satellite estimates are free and expected to be received within a week. We’ll review all material options and help you choose what’s best for your budget and needs.
  • Each estimate will include, a detailed scope of work, warranty details, and a no pressure consultation to ensure you decide the best option for your budget and roof needs.
  • Payment schedule is first 50% after drying in and remaining 50% at completion.
  • For all payments outside of check, ACH or cash, contact the Blue Vision Office to set up credit card options. There may be a small additional transaction fee.
